Terminology

Term	Meaning
Organization	A shared workspace boundary for people, Projects, and settings.
Enterprise	A commercial agreement that covers one or more Organizations with consolidated usage-based billing.
Project	A focused body of work inside an Organization.
Work Item	A Task, Bug, Story, Feature, or Epic tracked in a Project.
Board	A filtered view over a Project’s Work Items arranged in status columns.
Backlog	A Project’s Work Items that are not assigned to a Sprint, shown by the Unscheduled filter in Work Items. This is separate from the backlog workflow status.
Sprint	A time-boxed planning and delivery cycle.
Application	A first-party Hamstik capability installed for an Organization or Project.
PAT	Personal Access Token used by the Public API, CLI, scripts, and agents.

Hamstik uses Organization in its public API and product UI. Older internal material may use “tenant” for the same ownership boundary; that is an implementation term, not the public product name.

An Enterprise groups one or more Organizations for subscription ownership, consolidated billing, and priority business-hours support. Enterprise membership never grants access to another Organization’s data — Organizations remain isolated workspaces regardless of a shared Enterprise agreement.
