Terminology

Term	Meaning
Organization	A shared workspace boundary for people, Projects, and settings.
Project	A focused body of work inside an Organization.
Work Item	A Task, Bug, Story, Feature, or Epic tracked in a Project.
Board	A filtered view over a Project’s Work Items arranged in status columns.
Backlog	The Project view for Work Items not assigned to a Sprint.
Sprint	A time-boxed planning and delivery cycle.
Application	A first-party Hamstik capability installed for an Organization or Project.
PAT	Personal Access Token used by the Public API, CLI, scripts, and agents.

Hamstik uses Organization in its public API and product UI. Older internal material may use “tenant” for the same ownership boundary; that is an implementation term, not the public product name.
