Getting started with Hamstik
Hamstik brings Organizations, Projects, Work Items, Boards, and Sprints into one focused work-management flow. This guide gives you the shortest path from a new account to a useful project.
The Hamstik model
- An Organization is the shared workspace where people, Projects, and organization settings live.
- A Project is a focused body of work with its own key, Work Items, Boards, Sprints, labels, and discussion.
- A Work Item is a Task, Bug, Story, Feature, or Epic tracked inside a Project.
- A Board is a filter view over a Project’s Work Items. It is not a separate pool of cards.
- A Sprint is a time-boxed planning and delivery cycle.
Your first path
- Create an account and an Organization.
- Create a Project with a name and stable key such as
WEB. - Add Work Items for the work your team needs to understand and move.
- Open a Board to see a visual flow across statuses.
- Create a Sprint when you are ready to commit to a time-boxed slice of work.
Keep the Project key short and recognizable. Hamstik uses it as the prefix for Work Item keys, such as WEB-1.
