Premium Applications
Premium Applications
Premium Applications are optional Organization-level capabilities. Advanced Reporting is the first Premium entry.
Price and eligibility
A Premium Application costs $10/year per Organization. An Organization with an active Pro license can purchase an App whenever that App has no current or scheduled paid or grant coverage, including while Pro comes from a complimentary grant or legacy license. Each App needs its own purchase; buying one does not unlock other Premium Apps.
For an active, automatically collected paid Pro subscription, the App is an add-on that renews with Pro. The first purchase uses Stripe’s provider-calculated prorated amount for the remaining Pro term. For complimentary or legacy Pro, Checkout creates a separate annual Stripe subscription for that App. Its first $10 charge is collected at Checkout, and it renews on its own annual anniversary. Prices are before applicable taxes or credits. An Organization with several separately purchased Apps has a separate subscription for each one.
To buy an App during any eligible Pro term, open Organization Settings → Apps → Discover → Premium Apps and select Purchase App. The purchase action is also available from the Premium Apps section of Organization Settings → Billing. Apps that have already been purchased appear under Installed apps for access and renewal management. Only an Organization owner can confirm a purchase.
The purchase review shows the Organization, App, first charge, annual renewal amount, renewal timing, and automatic renewal. Paid Pro add-ons show a provider-calculated preview and Pro renewal date. Separately billed Apps show the $10 annual price before tax and renew one year after payment. Payment is completed on the hosted provider page when required; Hamstik never collects card fields. App access begins only after Stripe confirms a paid invoice.
Complimentary App Grants
Hamstik may issue a one-time Premium App Grant code for a named App and duration. An Organization owner can open Account → Premium App Grant, enter the code, review eligible Organizations and dates, and apply it to one Organization. The code grants that App at no charge for its stated period. A code can be redeemed only once. It may be restricted to a recipient account or a specific Organization, and may have a redemption deadline.
The Organization needs an active Pro license to redeem and use an App Grant. The grant does not provide Pro or change an existing Stripe subscription. If an App’s paid renewal has been canceled, the complimentary period starts when its paid-through period ends. Multiple grants for the same App and Organization are scheduled in sequence. A code cannot be applied while that App’s paid subscription is still set to renew or a purchase is pending. A new paid purchase is available after grant coverage ends; an owner can also ask Hamstik to revoke an unused code or redeemed license if it was issued in error.
After redemption, an administrator or owner can enable the App in Organization Settings → Apps. A grant’s dates and complimentary billing state appear in the App details. Expiry or revocation ends access from the grant at once while retaining App data and configuration. Existing paid coverage, if any, remains independent.
Enablement and retained data
Billing and App enablement are separate. A successful purchase creates a disabled App state and offers Enable App to an Organization administrator or owner. Disable App stops App use while billing and renewal continue. Saved data, definitions, dashboards, schedules, and configuration remain retained through disablement, non-renewal, expiration, downgrade, and restoration.
Access is available only while the canonical Premium entitlement is valid and the App is enabled. The exact paid-through boundary is exclusive: access is available before the recorded end and denied at that timestamp. Expiration blocks execution while retaining the App state and configuration, including your enablement preference. Restoring commercial coverage makes a previously enabled App usable again; an App you explicitly disabled stays disabled until an administrator or owner enables it.
Renewal choices
Cancel renewal removes a paid Pro App’s recurring item or schedules a separately billed App subscription to end at its paid-through date. Existing paid-through access continues until that date. Pro, storage packs, and other Premium Apps stay unchanged.
Resume renewal is available during the same paid-through App term while the Organization has Pro. For a paid Pro add-on, it adds the App back with no immediate charge and preserves the Pro renewal boundary. For a separately billed App, it removes the scheduled cancellation without an immediate charge; that App renews on its own anniversary. An expired App uses a fresh purchase quote and payment flow.
Premium App use still requires an active Pro or Enterprise license. If Pro ends, Hamstik stops future renewal of separately billed Apps while retaining their paid-through record and App data. Restoring Pro during an App’s paid-through period restores access; an expired App needs a new purchase.
Changing the deployment sales switch does not remove existing access, cancellation, or enablement controls. It suppresses new purchase, reactivation, and renewal commitments until sales configuration is valid and the switch is enabled for a later release.
Enterprise
An Organization with effective Enterprise coverage sees Included with Enterprise. Premium Apps do not create a separate Stripe line for Enterprise and are not automatically enabled. Each Organization independently controls whether its App is enabled. Enterprise administration alone does not grant access to another Organization’s settings or content.
